Arrell Food Institute at the University of Guelph is launching a cinema series to engage the local community in important discussions related to all aspects of the food system. The first screening is SEED: The Untold Story. After the screening, a moderated panel will discuss topics and themes covered in the film.
This screening is taking place at the Bookshelf Cinema in Guelph on November 23 and it will feature a panel discussion with local seed keeping experts following the screening. Tickets can be purchased for $10 which includes the film screening, panel discussion and a post-screening reception at Miijidaa Cafe + Bistro with light refreshments. Tickets are free for attendees age 15 and under.
About the Arrell Food Cinema Series
The Arrell Food Cinema Series is an initiative created by Arrell Scholars. The purpose of our series is to bring food documentaries with a variety of perspectives to our local Guelph community and generate discussion about our food systems.
