Session 6: Crafting the Food Technology Story - How to Make Technical Innovation Compelling

Date: Wednesday, February 18, 2026 Time: 12:00–1:30 PM ET Format: Live Virtual (Zoom) Session Type: Expert-Led Workshop + Applied Learning
Session Overview

Foodtech founders are often deeply technical, yet many struggle to clearly and compellingly communicate the value of their innovation to customers, partners, and investors. Session 6 focuses on helping founders translate complex technical ideas into clear, credible, and engaging stories that resonate with non-technical audiences.

In this workshop, William Johnson will introduce the STICKS framework, a practical approach for crafting messages that are memorable, persuasive, and easy to understand. Using real-world examples, the session will explore how to surface what matters most, build credibility, and connect innovation to real-world impact across pitches, sales conversations, and partnership discussions.

The session will conclude with recommendations for continued learning and professional connections to help founders further develop their communication and storytelling skills.
